The Michigan State Spartans men’s basketball team represents Michigan State University (MSU) in NCAA Division I college basketball and participates in the Big Ten Conference. They play home games in the famous Breslin Student Events Center. Since 1995, Tom Izzo has been the head coach. The Spartans have two NCAA titles and 16 Big Ten Conference titles to their credit. Michigan State is the most successful basketball team in the Big Ten under Tom Izzo. Under Tom Izzo, Michigan State has won the series against every Big Ten team.
